Director of Growth Marketing & Demand Generation - B2B SaaS

Learnsoft is looking for a revenue-centric marketer with seasoned skills in inbound and outbound marketing and a proven track record of success with their B2B marketing programs.

Your Profile

Reporting to the CEO, as a Director on the executive track, you’ve got the hunger to win, an energetic and positive outlook, and understand what it takes for marketing to contribute bottom-line results in revenue to a B2B software business. You bring direct experiences with learning and development software to the team, understanding personas involved in the buying cycle, and the types of tactics that get attention with LMS (LearningManagement Software) and TMS (Talent Management Software) technologies.

Success will be measured by demand generation and conversion. You will use your powers across all channels and vehicles (digital, trade shows, ABM etc.) to deliver high-quality leads to our proficient sales team. You will own your number. You’re not starting from scratch - but you’re going to make our programs so much better. You love the details, are keen to optimize existing plans and activities, and know that traction comes from one great campaign to the next.

Responsibilities

Aside from the need to create buzz and orchestrate multi-channel marketing programs that drive demand and revenue, our director of demand generation has a breadth of responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategy and execution for demand generatingcampaigns across all digital and offline channels, optimizing for revenue andnew logo growth. We’ve got a plan started for you, make sure it holds water withassumptions and continue to revisit your commits on a regular basis.
  • Refine the set of KPIs with sales and ensure marketingmeets its part of the SLA and sales is additionally following up with marketingdemand to lead to predictable revenue
  • Directly manage and motivate a small team of directreports and agencies to deliver value for the marketing investment
  • Take direct ownership for key areas of the marketing plan,rolling up your sleeves and writing content, executing PPC, SEO and CRO tacticsto increase lead flow
  • Interface with Sales, Product Management and CustomerSupport Teams to ensure their ideas are brought to life
  • Measure, analyze, andreport campaign performance to the team
  • Own overall digital technology stack; evaluate, recommend,and oversee implementation of new technologies to improve the process andoptimize performance and can correctly attribute marketing activity to revenuecontribution.
  • Champion marketing best practices across the organization
  • Develop a deepunderstanding of customers, products, and the buyer’s journey.
  • Revisit and modify personas tied to specificcustomer needs and preferences as required

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • 7+ years of marketing communications or marketing operations experience in a smaller, dynamic team environment
  • 3+ years experience marketing technology solutions within L&D and/or talent management within businesses/enterprises
  • 2+ years of leadership experience with demand generation
  • 2+ years of remote work experience (the entire company is remote, and has always been, even before it was cool)
  • A strong track record delivering results across all online and offline demand generation channels and significantly scaling revenue contribution
  • Understands alignment and comfortable working with senior sales leadership, working with AE’s and SDR’s
  • Excruciatingly detail-oriented
  • Highly motivated, self-starting nature; you respond positively to moderate guidance yet are capable of (and comfortable with)independent critical thinking and problem-solving;  a micro-manager is your worst nightmare
  • Out-of-this-world project management skills with the ability to multi-task and complete projects flawlessly under tight project deadlines
